In Data Breach Review, the creation date and last modified date of electronic documents and files are crucial pieces of metadata that hold importance for several reasons. Dates help scope the data mining effort to focus on data that is likely to have been present during the breach event. Furthermore, document dates can aid in logic determining which PII is most current.
All the date fields extracted from the data are preserved, made available in the document list data grid, and exportable. Master creation and last modified dates are derived from the extracted dates and made available for searching in the data grid filters and search bar.
Please find additional details in our product documentation regarding which dates are collected and how master dates are calculated.
A SAS7BDAT file is a type of file format used by SAS (Statistical Analysis System), a software suite developed by the SAS Institute and used for advanced analytics, business intelligence, data management, and predictive analytics. The SAS7BDAT file format is specifically used for storing datasets in SAS.
SAS7BDAT files have the extension “.sas7bdat” and can be accessed and manipulated using SAS software or other tools that support this file format.
Canopy identifies SAS7BDAT files during processing and creates a mappable formatted version. SAS7BDAT files that have gone through this preprocessing step can be found in the filter panel under mappable files. Assessors and reviewers can then simply use SmartMap to map the PII contained in these files.
For all multi-select filters on the data grid, the “is none of the selected” option will be active when users select radio buttons for either “all”," “is not empty”," “is all of selected,” or “is any of selected.”
An inaccurate warning message that appeared when users opted to re-run PII detection has been removed.
The performance of the document view functionality has been improved by reducing the number and order of API calls.
